This week Tech Soft 3D has released updates to HOOPS Exchange and Publish pushing them to version 7.0. The latest release enables engineering software developers to accurately translate CAD data quickly (HOOPS Exchange) or export 3D PDFs (HOOPS Publish), in either desktop or cloud environments.

“We hear again and again the need to quickly access data,” says German Nikol, Director of Visualization Technologies at Kisters. “Tech Soft 3D allows us to deliver on that expectation by providing the fast, reliable underlying technology with HOOPS Exchange and HOOPS Publish that allows our customers to experience their data in the way that best fits their needs.”

New API’s in version 7 for Exchange enable developers to query the length, surface and volume of geometries and can perform an exact section of a model. There is also the ability to compare the geometry of two revisions of a model. HOOPS Exchange also provides the latest file conversions for leading MCAD apps.

Importantly, in HOOPS Publish new APIs can now create animations directly in 3D PDF files.
