Event: How Perkins + Will Operationalize VR and Increase Efficiency

While architecture firms are embracing virtual reality (VR) into their workflow processes, there are many challenges that firms must still overcome to maximize the benefit of VR. An upcoming free webinar will show attendees just how to do that.

On 3 May 2018, at 2:00 pm EDT, for 45 minutes, Justin Benjamin, Design Applications Manager, Perkins + Will, will discuss the firm’s use and experimentation with immersive technologies like VR.

The 45-minute webinar will review Perkins + Will’s impressive uses of VR in the design process and Benjamin will review tactics he used to increase VR adoption within the firm. Key items include:

  • How to implement VR workflows into the design process without creating distractions
  • Tips and tricks for increasing adoption (and decrease training time) for project managers and designers
  • Real world examples of how VR has improved the design process and client satisfaction on various large-scale projects at Perkins + Will.

Justin Benjamin, Design Applications Manager, Perkins + Will, has 13 years of experience in the AEC industry (the past 5 with Perkins + Will) and will be leading the webinar. Justin is focused on innovation and integration of various design applications relating to all phases of design and construction.

Ailyn Mendoza, Director of Customer Experience, IrisVR, will also be leading this webinar. She functions as the liaison between users and the engineering teams at IrisVR to develop features, case studies, and educational materials.
