Abvent’s Twinmotion 2018—Is BATIMAT Innovation Award Winner

Twinmotion 2018 garners award in the area of innovation. The new interactive renderer is one of the latest innovations from Abvent of France.


The Abvent Group of France has announced that Twinmotion 2018 has won the Silver prize in the “Digital, BIM, and New Technology” category in the 2017 BATIMAT Innovation Awards.

Le Mondial du Mâtiment Awards

Le Mondial du Mâtiment is the world’s leading building and architecture exhibition, promoting synergies across all trades and spearheading innovation. Over 340,000 visitors are expected, and it takes place 6-10 November 2017.

The 2017 Innovation Awards are a reflection of the entire sector’s drive for innovation, progress, and stand-out products and services and had over 217 entrants. The judges were won over by new features shown in Twinmotion 2018’s demo videos which you can watch here and below.

Twinmotion 2018 is built on the Unreal engine popular in the gaming industry and a cutting-edge software platform for both entertainment and professionals software solutions demanding high-quality 3D visuals and interactive physics-based interaction. Twinmotion 2018 is also the first interactive renderer in the AEC industry built natively for Apple’s macOS platform.

01 – Twinmotion 2018 is the first release to support the macOS natively, a big win for the platform and a competitive advantage over its primary rival in Lumion.
