Tidbits: Rhino, Brazil, Vectorworks and other news

Mac CAD and 3D News: We have news on Rhino tutorials, new release candidate software for Brazil, Vectorworks training in New York City and ArchiCAD Start Edition news.


Rhino Tutorials

NOVEDGE has a series of Rhino news and video tutorials including a two-part series on modeling screw heads, Rhino Importers in one bundle and a new Grasshopper tutorial. 

Also Brazil for Rhino RC7 is now available. This build is feature complete and you can download it from the Rhino news site. And lastly in Rhino news the 1st Spanish Rhino User Meeting will take place Feburary 16, 2009 at IED Barcelona.

Vectorworks 2009 Training – NYC

V-Construct of New York City will be conducting Vectorworks 2009 training classes in New York City. The schedule includes classes on February 21, 2009, 9am – 5pm and February 28, 2009, same 9-5 times. Both classes will be at the Computer Tech Centers venue on 352 7th Avenue, 16th Floor. Cost is $395. 

More Training News

In other training news the The Konstrukshon Weblog mentions Jon Pickup’s Vectorworks training sessions that are now online. Jon has both PDF-media laden tutorial materials and hosts online sessions for free. Moreover, he has YouTube video tutorials for easy viewing. 

ArchiCAD Start Edition 2009 News

TenLinks has a news posts on Graphisoft’s ArchiCAD START Edition 2009 software. Entry-level BIM is what is mentioned but to be clear Architosh has already posted detailed write-ups on the ArchiCAD START Edition package and there is actually nothing new in this news. It is still based on the latest ArchiCAD 12 flagship product which Architosh has covered in a detailed review here.
