Graphisoft announces new CEO in Daniel Csillag

Daniel Csillag is named the new CEO of Graphisoft, the pioneer in BIM software for the architecture industry.

Graphisoft has announced that American Huw Roberts is leaving his role as CEO by mutual agreement. Roberts has been CEO since 2019 when then-CEO Viktor Varkonyi took up a chief division officer role at Nemetschek in Germany.

At the time, many insiders in the AEC software industry praised the selection of Roberts due to his deep industry expertise honed by many years at Bentley Systems. Huw Roberts began his career as a practicing architect and has a deep understanding of the needs of architectural professionals.

“With his industry expertise and many years of experience, Huw has played a key role in the success of Graphisoft in recent years,” said César Flores Rodríguez, Chief Division Officer, Planning & Design and Digital Twin, at Nemetschek Group. “We thank Huw for his contribution and commitment to the Nemetschek Group and wish him all the best for the future.”
