Consequently the latest Tekla products enable smoother information delivery on projects that are typically growing in size and complexity. Trimble Structures senior product director, Michael Evans, explains:

“Our product development focuses on delivering solutions that make building information more easily available, constructible and shareable to stakeholders across the industry to optimize the use of resources. Through continuous enhancements, in-product intelligence and expanded support for sustainable construction, we provide our customers with one of the most advanced BIM technology platforms on the market today.”

Tekla BIM software is a powerful tool for developing and achieving environmentally friendly construction methods. It enables designers and engineers to optimize the use of resources, minimize waste, and enable full asset lifecycle maintenance.

Tekla community

With the use of open standards, Trimble’s Tekla software products also have an active partner community. Tekla partners are developing their projects using Tekla API (application programming interface). This includes complementary applications for specialized industry sectors such as scaffolding design, industrial projects, and detailing for modular construction, such as light metal framing.
