Announced on 27 September 2022, BOXX Technologies’ powerful new APEXX A3 workstation includes the latest AMD Ryzen™ 7000 Series Processors.

These new CPUs provide outstanding performance for a wide array of professional software applications, from CAD and 3D design, to motion media and virtual reality. BOXX is one of the first workstation manufacturers to ship systems equipped with these new AMD microprocessors.

The AMD Ryzen™ 7000 Series Processors powering the APEXX A3 have 16 cores, each with two threads. Thus offering 32 threads, running at a staggering 5.7GHz. This powerful machine gives you simultaneous multitasking without sacrificing efficiency or performance.

As a result, the APEXX A3 delivers the power you need for 3D modeling, rendering complex scenes, running simulations, and creating virtual worlds. It is the perfect system for high-end applications such as 3ds Max, Adobe CC, Arnold, Autodesk Revit, Cinema 4D, Maya, SOLIDWORKS, and V-Ray.

Power packed

In addition to the latest AMD technology, the highly configurable APEXX A3 features up to two professional-grade AMD Radeon Pro™ or NVIDIA® RTX™ GPUs (graphics processor units). BOXX will also offer the latest NVIDIA Ada Generation GPU upgrades the end of the year.

The liquid-cooled APEXX A3 workstation offers up to 128GB 4800MHz DDR5 system memory. It comes with best-in-class connectivity, such as PCIe® Gen 5.0, 2.5GB Ethernet, and USB 4.0. It also has Samsung 980 Pro PCIe® 4.0 NVMe SSDs  (non volatile memory express, solid state drives). These top-quality components provide maximum graphics and storage throughput.

Using a chassis built in the United States, BOXX has packed a massive amount of processing power into a relatively compact box. The APEXX A3  measures just 381mm high x 174 mm wide x 452 mm deep.
