Chaos has acquired another 3D software technology company in Cylindo, marking the third major business story coming out of the Chaos camp in the past few years. Cylindo provides 3D product visualization solutions via its platform and empowers brands and retailers to create enticing visuals for market audiences.
The acquisition will empower both companies to build on their respective vision of creating a leading end-to-end 3D visualization ecosystem. The end goal of Chaos is to fully democratize visualization across 3D, AR, VR, and XR content platforms and make the solutions accessible to everyone.
Cylindo
Cylindo was incorporated in 2012. Its solutions are web-based services and today they power four quintillion product variations and 18 million monthly users.
Their technology features powerful product configurations and feeds, AR/VR experiences, interactive room scenes, and other marketing channels, all bringing the power of 3D photorealism to bear on marketing and sales-led experiences.

Cylindo will continue to operate as an independent brand collaborating closely with the Chaos team. All Cylindo services and solutions will continue to be developed and offered. Cylindo’s 164 employees will continue to operate from offices in Boston (USA), Copenhagen (Denmark), Bitola (North Macedonia), and Skopje (North Macedonia). The acquisition now brings the Chaos joint workforce to approximately 700 employees across the globe.
