Canadian-based AE firm DIALOG has adopted Ideate Software’s digital tools BIMLink, and Ideate Explorer, two programs the firm says are musts for the serious Revit user.

Ideate Software is an Autodesk AEC Industry Partner and Authorized Developer. It is pleased to announce its collaboration with DIALOG—a firm that offers comprehensive MEP and structural engineering services to its clients in addition to architecture, interior design, and urban planning services.

Ideate Software Tools

DIALOG’s multi-disciplinary teams leverage five Revit applications developed by Ideate Software. Ross Salikhov, Technologist, Mechanical Engineering, DIALOG, says, “I mainly use Ideate BIMLink, and Ideate Explorer, and both are a must for a serious Revit user.”

DIALOG focuses on collaborative design and planning processes using Ideate Software tools for Revit.

“Ideate BIMLink is irreplaceable for finding, reviewing, revising parameters,” he adds. “It has saved me days if not weeks of work. He notes that he uses Ideate Explorer as a more sophisticated Revit filter because the native Revit filter is more limited.

With BIMLink, Autodesk Revit users can pull information from a Revit file into Microsoft Excel and push volumes of precise, consequential BIM data back into their Revit model. Ideate Explorer is a BIM model audit tool that enables users to find and delete incorrect, obsolete, and hidden items, including DWGs.
