KUBUS continues its partnerships and BIMcollab announcements as the 2020 year comes to a close. KUBUS and XEOMETRIC have announced a new integration partnership, enabling users of ELITECAD to manage and coordinate issues straight from within their software.

BIMcollab Cloud Integration

This new partnership means that ELITECAD—an AEC BIM solution in the German language market—is now integrated with BIMcollab Cloud. Issues are always up-to-date and available for the entire project team. This latest integration continues to strengthen BIMcollab’s position as one of the most versatile and popular issue management platforms for the AECO BIM industry, with integrations to the industry’s most popular BIM software solutions.

With this new integration, it is now possible to create Issues and share them with team members in just a few clicks, regardless of whether they use the same BIM software or a different one.

“We decided to team up with BIMcollab because our main goal is to ensure open information exchange in the openBIM process and there is no better partner for that than BIMcollab,” says Dr. Wolfgang Stöger, CEO ELITECAD. “With the new direct integration, it is now possible to share information created in ELITECAD, platform, and software independently. This doesn’t just benefit ELITECAD users, but all project stakeholders that can access this information in their BIM software.”

Issues created in ELITECAD are automatically synchronized in KUBUS’s cloud-based BIM issue management solution and can be accessed by other project members immediately. The new benefits from this integration come from validating issue resolutions, tracing annotations, publishing feedback, and standardizing workflows.
