Now in their eighth year, the AEC Excellence Awards—co-sponsored by Autodesk, Construction Dive, SmartCities Dive, Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and Informed Infrastructure—relies on the expertise of an international, independent group of thought leaders and practitioners to honor the innovative people and projects submitted to the competition.

The AEC Excellence Awards showcase global projects that demonstrate excellence in the use of emerging technologies (emTech) like ‘generative design’ and ‘industrial construction techniques.’  The awards are bestowed to honorees across categories that span from Building Design, Infrastructure Design to Construction, and across scales from small, medium and large projects.

List of International Judges for 2019

This year the competition sponsors welcome both new and returning judges for the AEC Excellence Awards 2019 and are grateful for their commitment to the difficult task of determining the winners from a wide field of incredible submissions.

The AEC Excellence Awards are juried by an international list of thought leaders and practitioners.

The AEC Excellence Awards 2019 is open for submissions through 4 June 2019. After this time, the judges will deliberate and choose the finalist that will be announced in August.
