BIM News: Solibri to ARCHICAD 22 Link Now Released

ARCHICAD 22 users gain new Solibri to ARCHICAD Link offering bi-directional BIM quality control workflows useful to design at every stage of the process.

GRAPHISOFT, the global leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for architects, has announced the release of the ARCHICAD Link extension for Solibri.

Solibri Model Checker and ARCHICAD

With this integration, ARCHICAD users can easily access Solibri’s Quality Control features and achieve higher design quality earlier in the process. Thanks to the link, the two solutions work in an integrated way. It is no longer necessary to save files and upload back and forth between programs; you simply design, check and amend as necessary.

SMC Icon Added

Once downloaded, an SMC icon is added to the main menu bar in ARCHICAD. With a few clicks, the user can export the BIM model into SMC. From there, the user can highlight model elements and have them replicated in both solutions. If design faults are found by SMC, the same elements can easily be selected in ARCHICAD for corrections to be made. SMC also offers the opportunity for the user to find the component and see the properties of any element selected in ARCHICAD. These properties include location, quantities, profile, relations and property sets. You can also select what components to export by layers or by floors.

01 – New Solibri ARCHICAD 22 Link is released for Graphisoft’s users.

“As part of the Nemetschek family, we focus on doing what’s best for our shared customer base. To us, that means real interoperability – offering direct value in our users’ everyday workflows,” said Ville Kyytsönen, Solibri CEO.

“Having access to Solibri’s unique rule-based Quality Control technology in such a smoothly integrated way will help our customers deliver better designs in a shorter amount of time,” said Peter Temesvári, Director of Product Management at GRAPHISOFT.
