CADprofi 2018.03 on BricsCAD Platform Available

Bricsys’ third-party development continues with the latest update from Polish software developer, CADprofi releasing its CADprofi Architectural 2018 software stack. The new Architectural module can be used to create construction plans, cross-sections, and elevation views.

A unique feature of CADprofi is its ability to design emergency escape plans and routes. The module comes with a substantial library of windows, doors, furniture and other furnishings objects.

CADprofi has modules for Mechanical, Architectural, HVAC & Piping and Electrical. Base CAD packages the CADprofi software will run on include: AutoCAD, ARES, BricsCAD, GstarCAD, ProgeCAD, and ZWCAD. Chaos Group Establishes Global User Event—Total Chaos

In May 2018 the Chaos Group is hosting a user event for the entire visualization and design industry named “Total Chaos.”

01 – Total Chaos is Chaos Group’s name for its global visualization summit user-group event planned for May this year.

Chaos Group invites users to visit Sofia, Bulgaria for Total Chaos. Uniting art, science, and technology for computer graphics, users attending the event can network and advance their knowledge and skills. Masterclasses from the world’s top CG experts will be taught across three parallel tracks—art, code, and craft.

Nvidia News: Experience Future of AEC and Manufacturing at GTC 2018

The GPU Technology Conference, or GTC, is Nvidia’s annual event where users across various industries utilizing GPU technology come together to learn and explore what is possible with graphics processing units technology. The conference takes place from 26 – 29 March 2018.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is Big Focus

The GTC is the premier AI and deep learning event, says Nvidia, providing attendees with training, insights, and direct access to experts at Nvidia.

Attendees will see the latest breakthroughs in self-driving cars, smart cities, healthcare, big data, high-performance computing, virtual reality (VR) and more.
