Inivis is the developer of the popular AC3D application for Windows, Mac and Linux and the new Spherize plugin adds great new capacities to the tool.

Spherize Plugin

The new Spherize plugin for AC3D 7.5 takes selected vertices and moves them so that they form a sphere. The tool is very useful for creating quad-spheres which form a good basis for a lot of subdivision surfaces modeling.

A forum posts notes that Spherize is also handy for making round surfaces or holes or distorting geometry.

X-Plane Plugin

Inivis has also been working with the developers of the computer game X-Plane and have announced the latest version of the X-Plane plugin for AC3D 7.5. The latest plugin is version 3.3b1. It adds support for the new X-Plane 10.50 Manipulators.
