Hungary’s famed CAD/BIM developer—Graphisoft—has proudly announced that its mobile app, BIMx Pro, has won the Architizer A+ 2016 Best of Best Award in the Technology category where it was up against other noted apps in Autodesk Insight 360 and IrisVR.
Both BIMx and IrisVR have garnered industry accolades, including Architosh’s own AIA National BEST of SHOW awards. IrisVR was given a Special Mention in this year’s Architizer A+ awards.
2016 Architizer A+ Awards—Illustrious Jury
This year’s 2016 Architizer A+ Awards were juried by industry notables in both architecture, design, technology and beyond—a melting of design visionaries and cultural thought leaders and developers.
Denise Scott-Brown, Bjarke Ingels, and Tom Kundig were key architecture notables, while Tony Hsieh (CEO of Zappos), Yves Behar (Fuseproject), John Edelman (CEO of Design Within Reach), Camerson Sinclair (Architecture for Humanity), and Barry Bergdoll (MoMa) were among jury members.
“We were thrilled to learn about this double honor,” said Akos Pfemeter, VP of Marketing, Graphisoft, “Feedback like this from the user community and the professional jury alike is a fantastic reassurance of what we do! It’s no surprise that our BIMx app is a market leader both on the iOS and the Android platforms in its own category.”
