FileMaker releases FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14

Self-paced training materials get beginners started for free, and helps advanced users unlock the full capabilities of the FileMaker Platform.

Santa Clara, CA – June 2015 FileMaker Inc., announced the immediate availability of the FileMaker Training Series for FileMaker 14, in-depth training materials that help anyone create FileMaker solutions that run on iPad, iPhone, Windows, Mac and the web.

FTS: Basic Series

The free FileMaker Training Series: Basics for FileMaker 14 is targeted at beginners, while the low-cost FileMaker Training Series: Advanced for FileMaker 14 offer intermediate to advanced users instruction to build compelling customized business solutions using the newest version of FileMaker, including exercises and downloadable activity files. FTS: Basics focuses on the features and benefits of the FileMaker Platform with special attention to the newest version, FileMaker 14. Students will learn how to build a sample FileMaker solution from start to finish.

It is available in English now but on June 30, 2015 French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Dutch will follow.

The FileMaker Training Series: Advanced offers a series of nine training modules with activities, exercises, demos and videos covering a comprehensive set of topics designed to help customers master the essentials of FileMaker solution development. FTS: Advanced is targeted at intermediate to advanced developers, but anyone who creates solutions with the FileMaker Platform can increase their knowledge from these time-tested materials. This series is a key resource for becoming a FileMaker Certified Developer.
