Nemetschek Vectorworks launches Chinese version of Vectorworks 2015

Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., releases Chinese language version of Vectorworks 2015 to Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese market.

Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., has been a roll of late with a string of announcements. This latest one is that Vectorworks 2015 is now being released to the Chinese market. The Chinese language version of Vectorworks includes Vectorworks Designers, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals and Nemetschek Renderworks.

Vectorworks 2015 software contains more than 100 improvements and new features compared to the last version, focusing on areas in architecture, BIM, urban planning and entertainment design. Key updates to the latest version include a complete 64-bit implementation throughout the CAD/BIM software.

Users also gain many new advancements made to the company’s own OpenGL rendering engine known as the Vectorworks Graphics Module (VGM).

“Updates for the 2015 Vectorworks software have been made with designers’ best interests in mind,” said Cecil Fung, managing director of Mad Macs Technology Distributions Limited, the Vectorworks distributor in China. “For instance, the 64-bit feature is beneficial when considering and adopting an improved design solution in China because the geographical scale of projects in the country and the common composition of multi-disciplinary teams often demand the computational and coordination efficiencies that the program provides.”

Mad Macs is hosting events throughout China and will be providing an introduction to the latest features of Vectorworks 2015. See the schedule below:

  • Shanghai — 9 April 2015
  • Beijing — 14 April 2015
  • Najing — 16 – 17 April 2-15
  • Hangzou — 27 April 2015
  • Chongqing — 6 May 2015

Members of the press, industry group representatives and those interested in learning more about the Chinese-language version of Vectorworks 2015 are invited to attend the launch events and will be joined by attendees from state-owned, private sector and academic institutes, says the company.
