SimLab Composer 2015 features include a new optimized user interface built around the workbench metaphor. There is a new material editor that allows you to view 3D models on the go. Also new are a new scripting module and advanced voxelization. Advanced image effects and a simplified assembly tree round out the new features along with multiple applications linking. You can link models to SimLab for example a SketchUp model to SimLab.

SimLab Composer can integrate into other CAD and 3D applications across multiple platforms, including on the Mac Autodesk Maya and Trimble SketchUp. SimLab Composer 2015 is feature based and the user downloads just one version of the application and adds features later. Preset bundles range from 3D PDF for 99.USD to 699.USD for the automation bundle. There is also support for floating licenses, educational licenses and upgrades from earlier versions.
