GRAPHISOFT has announced that its award-winning BIM presentation app, BIMx Docs, will now be available through a new licensing option whereby architects can easily share their Hyper-models with clients.

Responding to top user requests for BIMx, the developer of ArchiCAD 17 will now allow a licensing option where an architect can share BIMx Docs with clients and other AEC stakeholders for a per project fee of 39.99.USD. Shared BIMx Docs projects can be accessed from iOS devices within 7 days after sharing.

The company has also taken this time to update its BIMx licensing and pricing options for existing BIMx Docs license options. These include:

  • The basic BIMx app remains free of charge, allowing clients to fully explore the 3D part of the BIMx Hyper-models
  • The previously introduced BIMx Docs function packs giving access to the full project documentation including 2D drawings are available for 9.99.USD for one project; 74.99.USD for an unlimited number of projects
  • The standalone BIMx Docs app can be purchased for 74.99.USD from the Apple AppStore
