Today BIM leader Graphisoft, has announced that ZEISS cinemizer® OLED glasses are now available for use with its award-winning BIMx program for mobile devices.
Virtual Reality Adds to BIM Workflows in AECO Market
When a user wears the ZEISS cinemizer glasses in conjunction with BIMx it creates the impression of the user being in the center of the Graphisoft building information model and offers new dimensions in virtual reality presentations. The glasses can be connected to a Mac or Windows computer or directly to an Apple iPad or iPhone device running BIMx.
Developed by an international leader in the fields of optics and optoelectronics, the new cinemizer OLED virtual reality glasses from ZEISS visualize CAD data even in stereoscopic 3D mode offered by the BIMx viewer. As a result of this it creates an immersive experience for the viewer. With a head motion sensor (head track), users intuitively can look around the inside or outside of a building by natural head movement and even walk through them virtually.
