Maxon is sponsoring the Half Rez 2013 event in the Chicago area for visual 2/3D artists. It will be an evening of fun and learning presented by Greyscalegorilla and Chicago C4D and hosted by Internet-phenom Nick Campbell.
Germany-based Maxon is the developer of the award-winning and highly regarded CINEMA 4D, the 3D modeling, painting, animation and rendering solution. Maxon is a subsidiary of German software giant Nemetschek AG.
Event Details
Campbell says the event is geared to 3D and 2D artists, animators and designers “for a night of learning, drinking and hanging.” He adds, “Let’s be honest, most of us work behind computers all day. Come join us at Half Rez to get away from the black rectangle for a while and to hang with and learn from other professionals and beginners…”
Mathias Omotola, of Maxon, is among the group of this year’s guest presenters. He will talk about the strategic alliance between Maxon and Adobe, and showcase the powerful new features in CINEWARE, the fully integrated Live 3D pipeline between CINEMA 4D and Adobe After Effects CC.

Omotola will also demo CINEMA 4D R15, the newest release from Maxon Computer. Local 3D and 2D Chicago area artists are encouraged to come by and enjoy the fun and activities.
