Autodesk BIM 360 Presentations app for iPad now available

A user creates an iPad app showcasing workflows for Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Field apps

Autodesk has recently created and announced quietly a new iPad app called Autodesk BIM 360 Presentations on the App Store. The new iPad app is a software tool that showcases the various Autodesk 360 offerings including Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Field, as well as what’s new in BIM 360 Glue.

Autodesk BIM 360 is an offering that includes both Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Autodesk BIM 360 Field cloud services. 360 Field is based on an app that Autodesk acquired in Vela and the two applications serve different segments of the AEC process. Field focuses on QA/QC, safety and commissioning checklists while Glue allows users to access BIM models and navigate through them for querying objects, measurement, and coordination tasks.

This new app is by Tomasz Fudala, who runs the BIM and Beam blog, and is free and available from the App Store. Informative demonstrations in video format show the various workflows of using the two Autodesk BIM 360 apps discussed above.
