Nemetschek Vectorworks establishes new Local Presence in Chicago and Los Angeles

Nemetschek Vectorworks expands regional presence with two new key hires in Chicago and Los Angeles….events coming to Chicago

As Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., continues to grow and expand the company has needed to expand its operational footprint within some of the largest local markets within the United States. Nemetschek Vectorworks has just announced the hires of Patrick Schmitt and David Dengler as new regional account managers to serve as local representation in Chicago and Los Angeles, respectively.

“Nemetschek Vectorworks’s headquarters in Columbus, Maryland, has grown substantially in the past two years, and now we’re taking it to the next level by establishing a local presence in Chicago and Los Angeles,” said Stewart Rom, Chief Marketing Officer, Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. “Having additional support in these major cities will provide us the opportunity to build better relationships with our customers and the architectural and design communities.”

Patrick Schmitt has past experiences in tech start-ups and has consulted with engineering, construction and design/build firms. He has also been a IT sales role person with several Chicago area printing companies. David Dengler has past experience with Adler Display, a national leader in trade show displays and display technologies, as well as being an iPad/iPhone application developer and project designer and manager with several architectural firms in California. He possesses extensive CAD experience, including first hand knowledge of Vectorworks software and its rendering capabilities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from SciArc, in California.

Upcoming Events

The company plans to host two Vectorworks Architect 2013 training sessions on 13 June 2013 at the MicroTek Training facilities in Chicago, Illinois, with an opportunity for attendees to earn three AIA CEU. Details:

  • 9 am – Noon — morning session. 10.USD donation fee goes to Vectorworks Student Scholarship Fund
  • 2 pm – 5 pm — afternoon session. 10.USD donation fee goes to Vectorworks Student Scholarship Fund
