GRAPHISOFT is at the AIA National Convention in Denver this week and has several important events for folks interested in learning about BIM (Building Information Modeling) and its implementation. The company has just recently announced its latest version of its award-winning CAD/BIM software for architects, ArchiCAD 17.
Events and Booth Info
On Thursday, 20 June 2013, GRAPHISOFT will be hosting a presentation in CE Theater C on the AIA Convention Floor, led by Russ Sanders, AIA, of Orcutt Winslow Architects and Monte Chapin of GRAPHISOFT.
This event will show how firms can implement unique solutions for collaboration amongst BIM teams no matter how diverse. Best practices and key tools deployment will be featured. This is a free learning session as well for AIA CEUs. You can download this free Expo pass here, so any Denver area architects who want to hop in can use this.
The event takes place at 2:00pm.
GRAPHISOFT will also be in booth 3710 in the Software Pavilion area of the show floor and will be demonstrating its latest release, ArchiCAD 17, all day long. Learn more here.
GRAPHISOFT Tweet-UP Event
Finally, GRAPHISOFT will be hosting a “GRAPHISOFT at AIA Denver Tweetup” on Friday, 21 June 2013 at booth #3319 from 3-4:00pm.
The Tweetup is free and there will be snacks and cocktails for socializing over. There will be a small speech and then folks will be invited back to the GRAPHISOFT booth for more discussion and presentations.
So how does the Tweetup work? Simple, use the hashtags #AIA2013 and #ArchiCAD to round up your list of user names to meet in person, maybe for the first time. You will get a chance to network and have some fun. Here’s a blog post with more details.
