CadFaster “hands-on” training event in July

CadFaster|Collaborate by the Finnish company, CadFaster, Inc., has an upcoming “hands-on” training event in early July. They also have an online training event also.

What’s CADFaster?

Finnish-based CadFaster is the producer of a suite of innovative CAD technology solutions incorporating both desktop, mobile and the cloud. We awarded CadFaster Mobile an Architosh 2012 AIA National “Best of Show” Award in the Mobile iOS category this year. (see this article here).

CadFaster lets users share 3D CAD models and BIM designs for instant review by multiple participants online anywhere they are connected to the Net. Combining award-winning high-performance visualization with outstanding built-in communications design and engineering teams can collaborate affectively across a range of platforms, including Autodesk Revit, Bentley Microstation, AECOsim Building Designer or Nemetschek Vectorworks Architect.

Event Agenda

In this one-hour hands-on training session, you will learn how to:

  • export a model into a portable EXE file ready to share with the team
  • use the multi-user real-time mark-up capability
  • host a meeting to discuss the model with your colleages
  • export your model to the Cloud for collaboration on iPad
  • mark-up and manipulate your model using the CadFaster iPad app

This in-person event takes place in London, on 4 July 2012 at 16:45-18:00. Location is Cadventure Ltd, The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London. WC1E 7BT.

Online Event

An online event takes place the day before, 3 July 2012 at 17:00-18:00 BST (12:00-1:00pm EST).
