Graphisoft, a global leader in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software, today announced the release of ArchiCAD START Edition 2011 German and Austrian versions, the latest release of its entry-level AEC industry BIM software.

The new ArchiCAD START Edition 2011 software is based on the same “Virtual Building” technology pioneered by Budepest, Hungary-based Graphisoft, implemented in ArchiCAD 14, but with a feature set and price tailored to the needs of small architectural practices, home builders, and building contractors.

ArchiCAD START Edition 2011 contains all the tools necessary to create full fledged 3D BIM models of your project with the ability to quickly generate architectural documentation. New features in 2011 Edition include:
