Matrox Graphics Inc. has announced more Mac-friendly solutions with improvements to its Matrox DualHead2Go DP Edition and TripleHead2Go DP Edition product line. These Graphics Expansion Modules (GXMs) benefit Apple Mac notebook and desktop users by allowing them to expand their available display area and connectivity options.
The DualHead and TripleHead GXMs now come packaged with Mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort adaptor cables that enable users to directly connect these external systems directly to the Mac’s Mini DisplayPort ports. In addition, a firmware update will enable the support of a dual 1600 x 900 resolution on DVI monitors, further expanding the list of supported resolutions for greater flexibility.
Matrox’s Graphics Expansion Modules retail for 239.USD and 329.USD respectively and can be purchased from authorized Matrox resellers worldwide or directly from Matrox online.
