FileGenius – new cloud computing for architects

Applied Answers, Inc., has announced FileGenius cloud computing solution for architects.

Applied Answers, Inc., has informed Architosh of its new cloud computing storage solution aimed squarely at architectural and related professionals. Called FileGenius, the company’s tagline is “Finally. A File Transfer Solution That’s Easy.”

A bit of a play on Apple’s use of the word “genius” with its stores’ Genius Bars, FileGenius is meant to provide a truly easy, take-care-of-everything approach to large file transfer demands so common in the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) market.

The product-solution is entirely Web browser based and works with all the leading browsers on both Mac and Windows operating systems. It features leading-edge security at 128-bit SSL encryption with servers entrenched into a highly secure and restricted environment.

The product is also “white labeled” meaning your cloud computing solution for file transfer can look like your own company’s branded environment. It features an intuitive file and folder interface that most users can manage without instruction.

FileGenius can handle the uploading and sharing of files up to 2 GB in size. This is much larger than many leading competing products. It can scale to any number of users so it is good for both small and large enterprise organizations. And you can create unlimited “private workspaces” for your clients, consultants and teams.
