The event brought together teachers and professors of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) from 19 Chinese universities and institutions. They were presented an introduction to 3D architectural design using ArchiCAD’s functions and workflow.

“With this type of event, we are hoping to deliver our design method to future Chinese architects, and the university is the critical place for delivering these skills,” said Dr. Zhong Qi, Graphisoft’s Managing Director for South-East Asia and Greater China.

Represented universities were Dongnan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xi’an University of Technology, Beijing Industrial University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shandong Agricultural University, and Xi’an Jiatong University.

“This event is a great opportunity for our CAD teachers,” said Wang Jingyang, CAD Studio Director, Architectural Design and Urban Planning College of Chongqing University. “As a Graphisoft Educational Partner, we can learn more about ArchiCAD and how to teach it in our classrooms and studios. We hope this type of conference will take place every year.”
