Nemetschek North America and its distributor partner in Japan, A&A Co. Inc., have announced the release of localized versions of VectorWorks 2008.

“VectorWorks 2008 offers many new capabilities our users have been eagerly awaiting, and we’re looking forward to a big year ahead,” says Kazuko Uchida, president and CEO of A&A

Sean Flaherty, CEO of Nemetschek North America, traveled to Tokyo to celebrate the Japanese localized rollout with A&A and reported a captivated crowd during the feature presentation.

The press and many hundred users were among those who packed a room to see VectorWorks 2008 in action, reported Flaherty. “We’re pleased to see such enthusiasm for the new features and improvements we’ve spent the last year developing for our users,” says Flaherty. “In particular, the improved building information modeling capabilities (BIM) we’ve incorporated drew applause from the audience.”

A&A Co. Inc, has been serving the Japanese market for more than 20 years. More information regarding the localized version of VectorWorks 2008 for Japan can befound here.
