Artificial intelligence (AI) was the big theme at this year’s AU25 in Nashville, Tennessee. Just about every third-party technology company on the expo floor was talking about AI in one form or another.
Chaos unveiled its new AI Roadmap at AU25, which included several new AI-powered tools for visual rendering workflows.
Veras 3.0—New AI
Chaos’ AI tool Veras 3.0 now includes an Image-to-Video Generator for AEC. This new tool will transform a static rendering into a dynamic animation through simple prompts, adding motion, atmosphere, and storytelling ability into typical workflows that architects rely on daily.
New Chaos CEO Iveta Cabajova stated:

Unlike general-purpose AI video tools, which are not designed for the AEC industry specifically, Veras’s new image-to-video generator is specifically created for AEC professionals. It works natively with the leading tools in the industry, including Rhino, Revit, and SketchUp, as well as other modeling software. Designers can now pan and zoom cameras, animate weather, and change the time of day with just a few clicks. With the “look” now locked down, users can now add motion to the scene through vehicles and digital people, turning still images into immersive, moving stories.

Veras 3.0 marks Chaos’s latest step in providing the creative industries with technology that can dramatically speed up their workflows without adding complexity. If anything, these new technologies are simplifying complex workflows by reducing steps and taking away complexity. The company has also recently launched its AI Material Generator, a tool that transforms real-world photos into reusable, physically-based materials that can be stored in Chaos Cosmos. This new AI tool is currently available in Corona and V-Ray for 3ds Max, but will soon extend across Chaos products, including V-Ray integrations.

“The AI Enhancer saves me time by refining images instantly, reducing the need for extra post-production,” said Agnieszka Klich, co-founder, Arch Viz Artist. “When I don’t have textures available online, the Material Generator lets me quickly create a material without disrupting my workflow. Both tools make the process faster and more creative, which is exactly what I value in Corona.“
Next AI Wave for Chaos
While Veras 3.0 gains exciting updates, Chaos is hardly standing still with its AI ambitions. Architosh has had multiple discussions with the company about very exciting AI plans (some of which are still under wraps), but the company has publicized several new AI tools and initiatives and discussed AI at its booth at AU25 in Nashville. Here are the new reveals from Autodesk University:
- Advanced User Controls in AI Enhancer – More options for refining people and vegetation are coming to the AI Enhancer for Enscape, Corona and V-Ray 7 for 3ds Max, SketchUp, Rhino and Revit. These include tools to help target people for specific demographics and moods, and provide finer enhancement control over specific areas.
- AI Mood Match – Users will soon be able to match complex lighting and environment settings automatically to a reference image, removing the need for manual sky and sun adjustments.
- AI Material Recommender – AI-powered material search within Chaos Cosmos will offer context-specific recommendations, making it easy to find the right fit instantly.
- AI Upscaler – This AI feature allows users to get higher–resolution renders for free, by enlarging render outputs by up to four times, while preserving photoreal quality.
- Cylindo Quickshot – QuickShot enables product and marketing teams to turn standard product images into photorealistic lifestyle scenes in just a few clicks. Purpose-built for furniture, it preserves detail and scale accuracy while giving users control over lighting, props and backgrounds. QuickShot addresses common AI shortcomings — distorted products, inconsistent details, off-brand results — delivering visuals that build customer confidence and drive conversion.
