The new Vectorworks AI Assistant (Preview) is the latest new feature in the popular CAD/BIM platform for Windows snd Mac computers. The new AI technology helps users learn the software in a context-driven way.

The new features mark the first phase of integrating artificial intelligence technology into Vectorworks learning. Future phases will deliver more intelligent and personalized assistance, as well as time-saving solutions, for users.

To activate the new AI Assistant, the user will access the features in the Help menu. The solution provides context-aware answers to questions helping users more quickly master Vectorworks and keep working. The AI Assistant (Preview) is more than just a simple chatbot and provides several aspects beyond that, including:

  • Confidence Scores – Communicates how reliable each answer is.
  • Language Localization – Automatically adjusts based on browser settings.
  • Built-in Feedback – Users can rate responses and contribute to the tool’s improvement.
  • Resource Integration – Direct links to Vectorworks Help and Vectorworks University for deeper learning.

“The AI Assistant (Preview) is your partner in learning and productivity and is a significant advancement in the Vectorworks experience,” said Vectorworks Vice President of Product Management Vlado Stanev. “It’s an intelligent tool designed to meet designers at their level, whether they’re new to the software or seasoned pros.
