AMD has released the new AMD Radeon PRO W7700 graphics card aimed at professional workstation graphics users in fields like CAD, DCC, AI, and science. The new GPU delivers double-digit performance increases in key professional applications compared to the competition.
AMD says the new Radeon PRO W7700 is the most powerful professional workstation graphics card under USD 1,000.

“We built and optimized the AMD Radeon PRO W7700 graphics cards to create premium workstation graphics experiences, enabling our customers to boost innovation and productivity,” said Dan Wood, corporate vice president, Radeon product management at AMD.
The new workstation graphics card is designed to meet the evolving demanding nature of workflows with complex 3D visuals, special effects, and explosive growth in AI applications. The new GPU is designed to deliver exceptional performance.
The new Radeon PRO W7700 features:
- 48 Compute Units and Ray Accelerators
- 96 AI Accelerators
- 28 TFLOPS (peak single precision – FP32)
- 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with ECC
- 256-bit memory bus
- 4X UHBR 13.5 DisplayPort 2.1 (display ports)
With 16 GB of VRAM, the new GPU allows 3D artists and video editors to work with high-resolution models and textures with on-card memory, allowing faster workflows. Plus the new GPU card supports the latest codecs and AV1 encode/decode and AI-enhanced video encoding capabilities.
The Radeon PRO W7700 card leverages the AMD RDNA™ 3 architecture, and AMD says it is 1.7X better price/performance than competitor offerings. The new card boasts 52 percent higher performance in SOLIDWORKS 4, up to 24 percent higher performance in Creo 5, and 37 percent higher performance in CATIA 6.

Pricing and Availability
The AMD Radeon PRO W7700 workstation graphics card is expected to be available November 13, 2023, from leading etailers/retailers. Product availability in OEM workstations and SI systems is expected to begin in November, 2023. The AMD Radeon PRO W7700 workstation graphics card has an SEP of $999 USD.
