Autodesk has completed a multi-year renovation and expansion of its noteworthy Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco.
The redesign effort began during the COVID-19 pandemic and was safely executed with help from many of Autodesk’s signature AEC software tools, including BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. These tools were used to enable remote work and collaboration.
New Gallery
The Autodesk Gallery opened back in 2008. The space serves to highlight innovation and technical and design achievements by Autodesk customers.
The newly updated Autodesk Gallery includes a fresh look and offers a complete series of exhibits that celebrate the world of innovators empowered by Autodesk technology. A few of the highlights include:
- 13 incredible customer exhibits: Discover the solutions, breakthroughs, and experimental visions that Autodesk customers like LAIKA, NASA, Hyundai, and others are bringing to life with our tools.
- Spectrum experience: A new experience that honors the innovators making the world a better place for all.
- Prism experience: A central hub that allows visitors to participate in multi-choice questions, projected onto a large surface and responsive to touch or gesture.
- Future Communities: An interactive experience created in partnership with the Smithsonian that invites guests to collaborate with each other and AI to design a resilient and sustainable community.
The gallery will open for select tours in 2022. While folks wait to see it in person, there is more info here in this Autodesk blog post to learn about what is exhibited.
