3D Basecamp set to shine in beautiful Vancouver — Trimble’s annual user event boasts 2,000 attendees, over 100 speakers and sessions, expo!

Trimble’s SketchUp division has announced news of its big annual user event this year—3D Basecamp 2022.

Taking place in the fall, 3D Basecamp is where SketchUp users from all over the world come together to meet, teach, share, and inspire each other.

The conference event will feature learning sessions spanning multiple industries where SketchUp applications are utilized. Attendees will gain knowledge and skills and likely make good friends.

The event itself takes place in Vancouver, B. C, Canada, on 26-30 September 2022.

3D Basecamp 2022

Trimble SketchUp’s annual user conference—3D Basecamp 2022—is set for September in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

There will be over 150 learning sessions, 100 presenters, and people from over 38 countries. SketchUp’s 3D Basecamp event will help users learn how to leverage SketchUp to improve productivity and provide innovation at the workflow level. There are also accreditations for architecture and interior design.

3D Basecamp also features a sponsor exhibit hall. The Expo Hall will allow users to find rendering solutions, SketchUp plugins and extensions, and third-party developers doing work that integrates with SketchUp users.

Further Details and Venue

The expected attendance for 3D Basecamp 2022 is 2000 attendees. The average age will be 35-45. The event takes place at the stunning Vancouver Convention Center on the harborfront. By industry, 35 percent of all attendees are in the architecture segment of AEC. 18 percent are interior designers, while 7 percent are in construction. Related to construction are folks in entertainment (eg: theater, film, and television) at 6 percent followed by woodworkers at 5 percent.

3D Basecamp attendees have titles like architect, landscape architect, industrial designer, art director, visualization specialist, and more.

Sponsorship alumni include Kubity, Ultimaker, HP, Vive, and Lumion. This year’s sponsors list is not yet determined, nor is their sessions schedule.

Tickets are on sale now at early bird pricing. 850 USD begins the pricing for a Bootcamp ticket with 900 USD for a Basecamp ticket. An All-Access pass is 1400 USD. Early bird pricing ends 1 May 2022. Register here.
