Artlantis Updated to Version 6.5.2.12
Here is the really good news for users of Artlantis 6: the superb update to version 6 (6.5) is completely free. Earlier this year Architosh wrote a news report on the many excellent updates to the venerable rendering package for architecture and design professionals.
Those with version 6 licenses use the same serial number to run version 6.5. You can upgrade here.
The latest point-dot update offers numerous fixes to issues discovered after the 6.5 release. For the Render Manager fixes to include things like PSD Object layer colors were different depending on the Clients. The program would also quit when pausing a rendering by clicking cancel. Ambient occlusion did not render or was different from Artlantis. And there were numerous crashes when rendering a large image. These issues have been squashed, says the French company.
For Artlantis issues like the Light Cone not taken into account when rendering, demo mode periods not working on Mac OS Sierra, unable to enter a power value in HDRi and general crashing when manipulating the scene background—all these issues have also be eliminated.
Free Artlantis Webinars Here
Abvent will host two free webinars on 11 May 2017. These webinars will help people get up to speed on all the new features in version 6.5.
While the webinars are free, space is limited so users of Artlantis who have moved to or installed the 6.5 update are encouraged to attend. The event will be led by veteran architect instructor Ildikó Szabó, who will lead participants through the workflow in version 6.5
The session will highlight:
- Enhanced physical engine and preview window
- Natural and artificial lighting
- Object management
- Site insertion
- Render Manager
- Exporting Artlantis scenes into Twinmotion
