GRAPHISOFT has made significant market share advances in Asian AEC markets with its industry-leading BIM software solutions, including agreements with key industry players in Singapore. Now this latest announcement signals a milestone for the Hungarian-based software firm in an important advanced country.
Code of Practice for BIM Submissions
The CoP sets out the minimum modeling standards and regulatory information required to be provided in the BIM model.
The GRAPHISOFT Singapore team worked closely with BCA to develop a standard template and associated guidelines to help and guide ARCHICAD users in their architectural plan submissions in native BIM format. Relevant links regarding detailed submission requirements are listed below.
Chidambaram Chidambaram, Director, BIM Implementation at GRAPHISOFT Singapore, hailed the announcement “as a significant step forward for BIM in Singapore, as the new requirements demonstrate how the industry’s focus is moving towards the ‘I’ (information) in BIM.”
