Autodesk last week announced new Autodesk Industry Collections and the news that they are now available worldwide.
The industry collections offer users a flexible way to subscribe to a wide selection of the most essential Autodesk software by industry division. That is, by AEC, product design, or M&E (media & entertainment. Subscriptions to these Industry Collections provide continuous access to the latest software releases and enhancements and flexible term lengths.
New Courses at ThinkParametric
ThankParametric is an online learning school for learning advanced architectural skills, taught around programs such as Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Dynamo and more. Leading companies level-up here, including architecture firms like Grimshaw, SHØHETTA, Arup, AECOM, and Gensler.
Their latest course is titled “Deconstructing the Serpentine Pavilion (2016)” using Rhino 3D. The course uses not just Rhino but FLUX, Grasshopper and Excel.

solidThinking Conference Speakers Announced
solidThinking, Inc., an Altair Corporation, has announced its keynote speakers for the upcoming “solidThinking CONVERGE 2016” confab.
Ralph Gilles and Janine Benyus will head off the conference which aims to explore the intersection of design and technology. Ralph Gilles is Head of Design at FCA Global, while Janine Benyus is Co-Founder of Biomimicry 3.8.
This an exciting event and there several other additional featured speakers including many from the architectural world. Here is a partial listing:
