Trimble has updated its AEC cloud-based collaboration platform, Trimble Connect, with a new updated modern user-interface, new public API (application programming interface) support, new support for SketchUp version 2016, and a Trimble Connect Revit Add-in that was recently in beta.

The new Revit 2016 support with Trimble Connect now means Trimble Connect supports shared coordinates with Revit models.

Other Improvements

Other improvements include LandXML v1.2 file formats and that the public API now supports search. Users can now check in files by selecting root folder. And they can create todo from a selection of snapshots and not have it get listed as a todo on the 3D page.
