Herk-de-Stad, Belgium–SCIA, a global leader in structural design software and member of the Nemetschek Group, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Hilde Sevens to their board of directors as chief executive officer (CEO), effective 1 December 2015. She succeeds former CEO and company founder Mr. Jean-Pierre Rammant, who recently retired.

Autodesk and Siemens PLM History

“I am sincerely honoured and extremely excited about being appointed CEO of SCIA,” said Sevens. “In the next decade, the construction industry will increasingly adopt new technologies such as BIM to promote extensive productivity gains. Being part of that transition, I’m fully committed to this challenge, taking SCIA to even greater heights, to become a global thought leader in the construction industry and steer innovation to the next level.”
