New Update on Shaderlight for SketchUp

The good folks at ArtVPS in Cambridge, United Kingdom, have announced that they have a new update for their noted Shaderlight for SketchUp plugin rendering solution. Popular with Trimble SketchUp users, the new update is available now for download for all Shaderlight 2014 (v3.0) customers.

The new version focuses on the following updates and features:

  • Improved Auto-Exposure
  • Better background brightness and behaviour
  • Export animations as move files
  • Faster rendering performance
  • GI available without skylight portals
  • Elimination of GI flares/light leaks

Dosch Design Product News

Dosch Design has announced they have a new product in Garden Designer V3. This latest collection of fully textured 3D models for use in landscape situations will work with a wide variety of 3D software packages.

The price for the Garden Designer V3 CD-ROM is 119.euro (149.USD). Note worthy about the Dosch collection is that they come in support of not just the leading big 3D software packages like Autodesk 3ds Max and CINEMA 4D but also packages like modo, Artlantis and of course they support DWG, Universal 3D, Collada and DXF.

CAD Garage of Cambridge Offers New Products

New modo Provider

CAD Garage of the Boston area, a leading online CAD and 3D software provider and solutions experts, is now offering the Foundry’s popular modo 3D software package, an advanced capable professional tool useful for modeling, rendering, texturing and animations. An Apple award-winning software, modo is now a very mature tool that can rival the big four (Maya, 3ds Max, CINEMA 4D, and Lightwave) professional software packages, as well as Blender, softimage and others.
