GRAPHISOFT, a global leader in Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for architects, announced today that ArchiCAD 18’s global rollout process and the introduction of its brand new BIMcloud® Solution has begun. BIMcloud allows a BIM workflow on any network, hardware or software configuration, connecting teams and projects of any size or setup, 24/7.

ArchiCAD 18 Ships – International and German Markets Lead Others

Shipping of the International version of both ArchiCAD 18 and BIMcloud began 19 June 2014, followed by the German language version on 23 June and the US and UK/Ireland versions 24 June 2014—the first four of 27 local versions for various markets around the world. The goal is to reach all markets by the end of Q3 2014.

ArchiCAD 18 introduces several new key technologies into one of the world’s market share leaders in BIM software, including impressively a well conceived and integrated version of Maxon’s popular CINEMA 4D rendering engine technology, among other key features. You can read our full report here.
