Bluebeam has won a 2013 Constructech Magazine award for Commercial Top Product for its industry acclaimed PDF-based collaboration applications. Bluebeam Revu, its flagship product, won the top honor.
The annual award honors technology solutions that have demonstrated outstanding innovations geared toward the commercial construction market.
This year the editorial staff selected Bluebeam Revu as a top product because of its cloud collaboration feature, Bluebeam Studio, which enables team members to collaborate anytime, anywhere from a desktop, tablet PC or Apple iPad.
“We have reached a point in construction technology where words like mobile, BIM, and collaboration are no longer buzzwords–they are key, in-demand processes that contractors must implement in order to stay relevant,” says Mike Carrozo, chief editor, Constructech. “The 2013 commercial Top Products can meet these demands, and give construction companies the ability to enhance their businesses.”

Bluebeam has thus far in the past 12 months introduced not one but two Apple iOS-based apps directed at AEC collaboration, Bluebeam Vu and Bluebeam Revu iPad. The former product helps one quickly access PDF files stored in the cloud, while the latter product does more by allowing deep collaboration, markup, editing and more.
