e-on software has announced that Vue 9.5 xStream and Vue 9.5 Infinite–the company’s flagship products–are now shipping. Vue 9.5 Infinite operates as the company’s premium standalone 3D software for the creation of natural 3D environments. Vue 9.5 xStream operates as a plugin inside of leading 3D software suites such as 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, LightWave and Cinema 4D.
Vue 9.5 adds a number of important new technologies useful to professional 3D production pipelines. A new interactive texture placement features enables users to manipulate, scale and rotate textures interactively in their 3D workflow directly on the mesh. Vue 9.5 also has new advanced cloud control and will utilize a workstation’s GPU for accelerated anti-aliasing of thin polygon meshes.
