Graphisoft recently hosted a global BIM event on November 23, 2010. The event–which took place around the world–far surpassed the company’s expectations.
Nearly 1000 people registered for the live webinar which took place to demonstrate Graphisoft’s open collaboration technologies. Colleagues from around the world worked together simultaneously to demonstrate how capable Graphisoft’s BIM Server with Delta Server technology is. Graphisoft, Arktec, DDS-CAD, and Tekla Structures all demonstrated the power of “Open Collaboration without borders” as the company expressed it.
Graphisoft ignited the BIM revolution with ArchiCAD back in the 80’s with its “Virtual Building” technology. Recently the company was the first to offer the world’s first real-time BIM collaboration environment with its innovative Delta Server technology inside of its new Graphisoft BIM Server. Architosh has covered details of this innovation from the very beginning in quite some detail.
Arktec is a Spanish company specializing in BIM-oriented 3-dimensional structural calculations software. Tricalc is a suite of software solutions. DDS-CAD is a BIM-based solution for MEP design.
