ACCIONA, a pioneer in the use of BIM methodology and management in the construction phase of AEC, has announced that there research and development department has selected Graphisoft’s ArchiCAD 13 as its standard model-based design and documentation productivity solution. ArchiCAD will facilitate the sharing of project files and increase productivity, thereby enhancing competitiveness for the firm.

“This is all about an integration system that will help link all departments–education, quality control, engineering, et cetera–allowing us to work interactively on a single projec file and share our progress in real time,” said Fernando Blanco, Visualization and Sub-area Coordinator of 3D Modeling at ACCIONA’s R&D department.
ArchiCAD was used for the new Leon Airport Terminal.
