The new site allows students, teachers and schools to download the ArchiCAD 13 Education version for free. Professionals can also download the ArchiCAD 13 Trial version from the same site for free.

“More than one million users and more than 500,000 professional users who have downloaded ArchiCAD for free are the best proof of the effectiveness of our ‘free software+free learning’ concept,” said Akos Pfemeter, Director of Global Marketing at Graphisoft. “MyArchiCAD.com offers an unprecedented wealth of resources, including an entire range of free, interactive training materials and the unique BIM Curriculum to students, teachers, schools and professionals.”

The Hungarian-based software firm has been widely recognized by numerous organizations for its unique approach in helping users of 2D CAD become familiar with working in 3D building information modeling (BIM) software.
