Lundstrom Design of Sweden has released TouchCAD 3.6 this month. The new release includes numerous improvements and new features such as support for shaded surfaces in the 3D Editor, text, measurement improvements. There is also improved nesting features in the Unfold view, improved database handling, support for after processing of unfolded parts, and user-interface improvements in the main menus and context menus.

For those not familiar with TouchCAD, it is a modeling CAD software that provides fast and very accurate curved surface modeling using modern push-pull techniques, with integrated unfolding/unwrapping features to quickly convert complex 3D models into production ready drawings or cut files. TouchCAD is popular in boat design and similar curved bodied industries.

There is an updated video tutorial library with extensive instruction and over 3 hours of new videos. TouchCAD 3.6 has sophisticated objected modeling of complex surfaces. In addition it can map images or graphic objects to its surfaces.
