ICS offers Spring Training Camp – Learn BIM, SketchUp modeling and Artantis Rendering to sharpen your professional image and opportunities.

Get Ready for Your New Job – 2009 ICS Training Camp

The ICS Spring Training Camp offers a spectrum of workshops focused on BIM (Building Information Modeling) with ArchiCAD, modeling with Google SketchUp, and rendering with Abvent’s Artlantis. The schedule includes:

  • 24 March 2009: SketchUp Essentials I & II – this beginner/intermediate SketchUp training series teaches you how to build basic 3D models. 6 AIA/CES credits. Register here.
  • 25 March 2009: SketchUp Advanced Skills and Google Earth Pro – This two party training introduces advanced SketchUp modeling techniques and features instruction in making good use of Google Earth Pro for powerful visualization. Register here.
Both SketchUp workshops take place at the Boston Architectural College. Registering gets you a free Best of SketchUp Show DVD.
  • 10 April 2009: BIM with ArchiCAD 12 – ICS is calling this “Virtual Building for the Virtually Employeed.” This workshop was put together specifically for laid off architects and designers interesting in expanding their resumes and skills learning Graphisoft’s ArchiCAD. Learning a BIM tool can make you more employable. Registration fee is $25.USD.

  • 24 April 2009: The Artlantis Attitude Workshop – Join rendering guru, architect and author Dwight Atkinson for a one-day lecture-style training on Artlantis workflow, lighting tips, and other key themes illustrated in his latest book, The Artlantis Attitude: Getting the Attitude and Using It. Let an investment of one day give you the lateral thinking and confidence to navigate effortlessly through the Artlantis interface and produce faster, superior results.
