Autodesk’s 2010 BIM Portfolio

Earlier in the week Autodesk made announcements concerning its unveiling of its new 2010 software portfolio for BIM. In a virtual press conference last Friday, the San Rafael-based company announced several new Revit series products including:

  • Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010
  • Autodesk Revit Structure 2010
  • Autodesk Revit MEP 2010
  • Autodesk Navisworks 2010
  • Autodesk Civil 3D 2010

Autodesk’s new 2010 series products for BIM feature an “aligned” user interface, giving the entire series of products a consistent look and feel. A focus on interoperability across not just the Autodesk portfolio but to other industry products was also important in this update. New support for green building extensible markup language (gbXML) format is included. Product availability starts on March 24, 2009. For more info go here.
